Stamp Club projects June 2013

Here are some fun projects we made using lots of NEW products from the just-released Stampin' Up! catalog.  The highlighted text is noting a product that is new!

First and Second cards were CASED, with some small changes.

Happy Birthday to You – card

Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Whisper White

DSP: Quatrefancy Specialty (page 150)

Ink:  Daffodil Delight pad, Strawberry Slush pad,

Big Shot:  Modern Mosaic emb folder (page 191),

Punches:  Artisan Label (page 181), Mosaic (page 180), 1” square (page 180) for the pennant edge

Embellishments:  Dimensionals (page 175), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (page 171)

You Make Me Smile - card

Cardstock:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White

Stamps:  A Round Array (page 126), Just Believe (retired) / Serene Silhouettes (recommended) (page 64)

Ink:  Crisp Cantaloupe pad,  Pear Pizzazz pad, Island Indigo pad, Calypso Coral pad

Such a happy-feeling, bright and lovely card!  The gals had fun making the little black "flourishes" with an Oval Punch (just punch slivers out of black card stock!) (Updated post...) - Don't forget to check out the fantastic tool: Magnetic Platform for your Big Shot!  This tool keeps all your framelits and edgelits in place and stops them from slipping and sliding around while you are getting ready to crank them through.  So simple, but soooo amazing!!
