August Stamp Club



Kite Birthday Card
Stamp Set: “Swirly Bird”,  “Build a Birthday”
Paper:  Cucumber Crush card stock, Whisper White card stock, Flirty Flamingo card stock
Ink: Cucumber Crush, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake ink pads
Embellishments: Enamel Shapes
Tools: Swirly Scribbles Thinlets

For Swirl behind the Kite piece – cut one large Swirl with framelit. Using scissors, cut it in half and position halves behind the white card stock piece.  White card stock measures 2 ½” x 4 ¼”

“Fiesta” Treat Box
Stamp Set: “Birthday Fiesta”
Paper: “Festive Birthday DSP” (6” x 6”), Whisper White card stock scrap
Ink: Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo ink pads
Embellishments: 1/8” Stitched Ribbon in Melon Mambo  (12”), Whisper White Mini Pompom Trim (about 3”)
Tools: Simply Scored, 1/8” circle punch, Layering Ovals Framelits, Sponge, Adhesives (Tear & tape or Fast Fuse)

For box:  Score the DSP at 1 3/8”, 2 ¾”, 4 1/8, 5 ½.  Turn and score only at 1 3/8”. Crease all score lines.  Cut out the small rectangle piece in the corner, and snip 3 creases up from bottom crease.  Apply strong adhesive to narrow flap and connect, forming box.  Use adhesive to put bottom of box together.  Gently “pinch” top of box, so the edges fold in like a milk-carton.  Punch a hole for ribbon to go through.  Decorate as desired.

Paper:  Pop of Pink” DSP, Basic Black and Melon Mambo card stock. Whisper White card stock
Ink:  Versamark ink pad, Melon Mambo ink pad, Memento or Basic Black ink pad
Embellishments:  Pop of Pink Washi Tape, Metallic Thread (gold). Gold embossing powder, Dimensionals
Tools:  Heat Tool for embossing, Heart punch, Banner Triple Punch,

For 3 layered banners, start with these sizes before punching with Triple Banner Punch:
2” x 4 ¼”,  1 ½” x 3 ½”,  1” x 3”
