Florals to share

Over the last few days I had some time to stamp cards just for fun! Here are my creations. Please note that some of these sets (indicated below) are going to retire at the end of June.
Colors:  Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green and Primrose Petals.  Stamp sets: Betsy's Blossoms and Curly Cute (retiring soon). Tools: Decorative Label Punch, Honeycomb TIEF for Big Shot, Dimensionals

This next card was CASED from a card on someone's blog. I think I only changed the colors and ribbon. This card gives off great energy!
Colors: Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit.  Stamp sets: Betsy's Blossoms and Made For You (retiring soon). Tools: 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Honeycomb TIEF for Big Shot.  Embellishments: Midnight Muse ribbon, Pearl Basic Jewels.

And this card was also CASED from someone's blog. I made minor changes and like the results!
Colors: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Old Olive. Crumb Cake.  Stamp Set: Bloomin' Marvelous (from SaleABration 2013). Tools: Postage Stamp Punch, Finishing Touches Edgelits for Big Shot.  Embellishments: button, Melon Mambo Striped Organdy Ribbon, White Baker's Twine, Dimensionals and Pearl Basic Jewels.

Lastly, I wanted to share this quick idea for themed parties.  In this case I hosted an Origami Owl Jewelry party and made favors and drinking straws to coordinate with the owl theme.  The photo isn't great, but you get the idea...
The owl cello bags were made with the Owl Builder Punch.  The pennants for straws were made with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch.  The owl stamp is from the set called Aviary (retiring soon).

Stamp Club Review

A new term of Stamp Club has just begun!  I will miss those of you who are taking a time-out. And a big Welcome Back to those returning!
Our first project was this darling "bag" style container. With just a few minor changes you can also create a box.  I learned this project from a tutorial by Kelly Gettelfinger.  The Simply Scored tool makes this project a breeze!! Here is a link to her Tutorial.  We used a 12x12 sheet of DSP from the recent Sale A Bration promotion.  We used the Labels Collection framelits (largest one) to make the top flap. Embellishments include: 1 3/4" scallop circle punch, 3/4'" circle punch, large pearl, soda top pop (the small size, flattened through Big Shot) and a white gel pen.
The second project was made with one of my new favorite stamp sets: Secret Garden (Spring 2013 catalog). I'm quite sure that I CASEd this card from another site with minor changes.
We used DSP from Sunshine & Sprinkles (Spring catalog). The flowers AND leaves (leaves are just petals cut from a flower) are from Secret Garden stamp set. The sentiment is from Friendly Phrases stamp set.  Color scheme is Pacific Point, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Lucky Limeade (detail on leaves is Old Olive).

The final project was another card that I CASE'd.  I love the simplicity of this card!  For the background texture, the Chevron TIEF was used on this example, but some chose to use the Honeycomb TIEF.  Sorry not to show it, but my sample of that one got lost in the shuffle.  The Going Gray card stock is the base. Flowers were cut using the Big Shot and the Floral Fusion sizzlit. Matching brads created the center of each flower. Lastly, some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine was wrapped around card 3 times and tied in a knot.  No sentiment was added, so this could be used as an any-occasion card. Color scheme for flowers/brads: In Color 2011-2013 (Island Indigo, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder).
